BANANA PI
Single-board computers, embedded platforms and IoT solutions
About the manufacturer
Banana Pi is an open-hardware ecosystem developed by Guangdong Bipai Technology and supported by SinoVoip’s experience in embedded design and manufacturing. The portfolio includes single-board computers, compute modules, routers, IoT gateways and platforms for AI and edge computing.
Banana Pi boards use processors from several vendors and architectures, including ARM and RISC-V. The platform covers entry-level development boards as well as more advanced networking, industrial and multimedia systems.
A major advantage of the ecosystem is access to documentation, Linux distributions and developer tools. This makes Banana Pi useful for rapid prototyping, IoT devices, routers, controllers and edge-computing projects.
Applications
Banana Pi platforms are used by developers, integrators and organisations that need a compact and flexible embedded computing platform.
BANANA PI products available from Maritex
The BANANA Pi range available from Maritex includes single-board computers for embedded, IoT and networking applications.
Available product groups include:
One example is the Banana Pi BPI-M2 Berry, a single-board computer with a Cortex-A7 processor, RAM, LAN, Wi-Fi, GPIO, miniHDMI, USB and SATA. Platforms of this type combine controller, computer and communication-gateway functions in a compact board.
When choosing a board, consider processor architecture and performance, RAM capacity, available interfaces, storage options, supported operating systems, power requirements and cooling needs.
