COMCHIP
Diodes, rectifiers and protection semiconductors
About the manufacturer
Comchip Technology is a Taiwan-based manufacturer of discrete semiconductor devices established in 2000. The company focuses on diode technologies as well as protection and power devices for modern electronic equipment.
Comchip’s portfolio includes switching diodes, Schottky diodes, Zener diodes, rectifiers, bridge rectifiers, TVS diodes and ESD protection devices. The manufacturer has also expanded into transistors and MOSFETs, covering both signal paths and power-management applications.
Comchip maintains in-house R&D and manufacturing capabilities and develops products for industrial, automotive, telecom, medical and consumer markets. Selected families are designed to meet automotive quality requirements, including AEC-Q101.
Applications
Comchip devices are used for rectification, switching and circuit protection, as well as in power stages and high-speed signal paths. Typical applications include:
COMCHIP products available from Maritex
Maritex offers COMCHIP discrete semiconductor devices for rectification, switching and circuit protection. The available solutions support both general-purpose electronics and compact SMD designs.
Available product groups include:
The Maritex range includes, among others, the CDSU101A switching diode in a 0603 package and the CDBHD240-G bridge rectifier. These components enable compact rectification and protection circuits while keeping PCB space requirements low.
Selection should take into account maximum reverse voltage, forward current, forward voltage drop, switching time and package type. In protection circuits, pulse ratings and clamping voltage are also critical parameters.
