About the manufacturer
Comus International is a manufacturer of sensors and switching components with a history dating back to 1978. The company began with tilt switches and subsequently expanded into a broad portfolio of solutions for detecting magnetic fields, motion, position and liquid level.
Today, Comus offers reed switches, reed relays, proximity sensors, tilt and vibration sensors, liquid-level sensors and custom sensing solutions. These products are used where contactless or hermetically sealed detection of position or state is required.
Reed technology combines very low power demand with contacts sealed from the external environment. This makes it widely used in alarm systems, meters, appliances, automation equipment and many battery-powered devices.
