CREE-VENTURE
SMD LEDs for general, professional and specialty lighting
About the manufacturer
Cree Venture LED Company Limited was created as a joint venture between Cree and San’an Optoelectronics to supply LED components to broad lighting markets, including more cost-sensitive segments. Products from this activity were offered, among others, under the J Series brand.
Today, Cree LED offers a broad portfolio of application-optimized LED chips and components for general and architectural lighting, signage, video displays, horticulture and specialty lighting. The business draws on more than 30 years of LED technology development and is known for efficiency, color consistency and long-term reliability.
For general-lighting applications, key product variables include correlated color temperature, CRI, luminous flux and color binning. This enables designers to select LEDs for consumer, professional and industrial luminaires where consistent optical performance directly affects the quality of the finished product.
Applications
Cree Venture/Cree LED components are used where energy efficiency, stable optical performance and precise light-color selection are important. Typical applications include:
CREE-VENTURE products available from Maritex
The CREE-VENTURE range at Maritex focuses on SMD LEDs for energy-efficient luminaires and lighting modules, with variants covering multiple color temperatures and color-rendering requirements.
Available product groups include:
The portfolio includes JE2835-family devices in 2700 K, 3000 K and 6500 K versions, with different CRI and luminous-flux options. This makes it possible to match the LED to the intended luminaire and target light quality.
When selecting an LED, designers should verify CCT, CRI, flux and color bin, operating current, forward voltage, thermal management and the thermal conditions of the complete module.
