About the manufacturer

Cypress Semiconductor Corporation was a US semiconductor manufacturer known for PSoC microcontrollers, memory devices, connectivity products and interface ICs. In April 2020, Cypress was acquired by Infineon Technologies, and its technologies and product families became part of the broader Infineon portfolio.

Cypress built a strong position in programmable PSoC systems, nonvolatile FRAM, SRAM, USB and wireless connectivity. A distinctive feature of PSoC devices is the combination of MCU cores with programmable analog and digital blocks, allowing designers to reduce the number of external components.
