About the manufacturer
DAVICOM Semiconductor is a Taiwanese IC manufacturer focused on network communications. Founded in 1996 in Hsinchu Science Park, the company has developed Ethernet PHY devices, MAC controllers and integrated 10/100 Mb/s transceivers.
Its best-known product families include DM9xxx devices used in embedded and industrial equipment. These ICs enable Ethernet connectivity in processor-based systems where straightforward integration, compatibility with classic Fast Ethernet and long-term support of established platforms are important.
Davicom has developed both integrated MAC/PHY controllers and standalone physical-layer transceivers. As a result, its devices can be found in industrial systems, automation equipment, network appliances and embedded platforms.
