DREMEC

Spacers, sleeves and precision fastening elements for electronics

About the manufacturer

DREMEC Befestigungselemente GmbH is a German manufacturer of fastening and spacing components founded in 1991. The company specializes in spacers, sleeves and machined parts made from metals, plastics and metal/plastic combinations.

DREMEC offers both a broad standard range and custom-made components. Threaded spacers, distance sleeves and precision turned or milled parts are widely used in electronics, electrical engineering and mechanical assemblies.

The company operates its own machining capabilities and supporting processes such as cleaning and surface preparation. It manufactures both small and large series and can adapt material, length, thread, geometry and finish to customer-specific designs.

Applications

DREMEC components primarily perform a mechanical function: they set distances between parts, stabilize PCBs and enable safe multi-level assemblies.

• PCB assembly – spacing circuit boards from enclosures or other modules.

• Industrial electronics – mounting modules and actuators.

• Control cabinets – construction of layered electronic assemblies.

• Embedded computers – stabilizing boards and expansion cards.

• Measurement equipment – precise positioning of components.

• Prototyping – fast mechanical assembly of PCB modules.

• OEM production – custom spacers and machined parts matched to the design.

DREMEC products available from Maritex

The DREMEC range available from Maritex includes metal spacers and sleeves for PCB and structural assembly. Versions with different lengths and thread configurations are available.

Available product groups include:

• M3 threaded spacers.

• Brass spacer sleeves.

• Nickel-plated components.

• Female–female threaded spacers.

• Female–male threaded spacers.

• Hexagonal PCB mounting elements.

Examples include 113X10, 213X15 and 213X25. These precision nickel-plated brass components are used to maintain a defined distance between PCBs, enclosures and other parts of a device.

When selecting a spacer, define its length, thread type and diameter, thread configuration, material, finish and wrench size. Mechanical loads and the assembly method of the complete device should also be considered.
