TK
Aluminium electrolytic and film capacitors
About the manufacturer
Toshin Kogyo was established in 1951 in Japan's Nagano Prefecture as a silk-processing business. It entered aluminium electrolytic capacitor manufacturing in 1959 and film capacitor production in 1962.
The TK brand later developed audio-grade capacitor families, electrolytic and film devices, and selected display-module offerings. This development reflects a move from materials manufacturing into specialist electronics. Relevant design factors include dielectric losses, parameter stability with temperature and the operating conditions of AC and DC circuits.
Applications
TK solutions are used in applications including:
TK products available from Maritex
The Maritex range under the TK brand includes selected components from its specialist product field. As product families differ in specification and purpose, the full manufacturer part number remains the main reference.
Principal product groups include:
Capacitor selection should compare capacitance, rated voltage, ESR, ripple-current capability, operating temperature, size and expected life.
