LAPP-KABEL

Industrial cables and connection technology

About the manufacturer

LAPP KABEL s.r.o. is a LAPP group company supplying industrial cabling technology. This designation identifies a particular commercial entity rather than a separate cable technology. Products are selected according to installation requirements and applicable standards. In these designs, attention to reliable routing of control, data and power cables is particularly important because it affects the complete system, not merely an individual component.

Control, power and data cables work together with cable glands, connectors and marking systems. Industrial cable construction must account for oils, moving cable carriers, bend radii and electromagnetic interference. In a finished product, matching these parts correctly affects functionality, ease of integration and repeatable system operation.

Consider conductor count, cross-section, voltage rating, insulation, shielding, flexibility and relevant approvals. Fixed installations must be distinguished from continuously moving cable applications. Exact ratings and permissible conditions should be linked to the selected part number, rather than assumed for an entire family.

Applications

Typical applications for LAPP-KABEL products include:

industrial automation
machine cabling
control cabinets
power installations
industrial networks
cable carriers
