HPLIGHTING

High-power LEDs for visible and infrared light

About the manufacturer

High Power Lighting Corporation is a Taiwanese producer of higher-power LEDs. Its products include visible-light emitters and specialized infrared sources for applications needing concentrated light output or radiation at a specified wavelength.

Its designs include emitter packages with optics, different beam-angle versions and infrared LEDs used in cameras or communication systems. In high-power applications, optical and thermal specifications must be considered together. Drive current, junction temperature and heatsink design influence brightness and service life.

Visible-light applications require checks of colour, luminous flux, forward voltage and beam angle. Infrared systems may instead prioritize peak wavelength, radiant power and spectral characteristics. Constant-current driving and adequate heat transfer are essential parts of the design.

Applications

Products and technologies from this manufacturer are relevant to the following applications:

focused and technical lighting.
IR cameras and surveillance.
infrared illuminators.
optical and measurement devices.
high-power signalling.
specialized LED systems.
