TOSHIBA

Semiconductors and ICs for electronic systems

About the manufacturer

Toshiba's roots date to 1875, when Hisashige Tanaka established a telegraph-equipment enterprise in Tokyo. The businesses that became Toshiba were combined in 1939.

The brand has long experience in semiconductors, power electronics, motor-control ICs and electronic equipment. Key lines include power transistors, optoelectronic devices and industrial-control components. Design engineers need to consider interface compatibility, noise immunity and the thermal ratings of the chosen components.

Applications

TOSHIBA solutions are used in applications including:

embedded systems
industrial electronics
automation
power supplies and converters
consumer devices
communications and interfaces

TOSHIBA products available from Maritex

The Maritex range under the TOSHIBA brand includes selected components from its specialist product field. As product families differ in specification and purpose, the full manufacturer part number remains the main reference.

Principal product groups include:

power MOSFETs
photocouplers and isolators
motor-control ICs
discrete semiconductors

Selecting a device requires comparing function, electrical parameters, temperature range, package, lifecycle and documentation.
