DWIN

Smart HMI displays, TFT modules and touch panels

About the manufacturer

Beijing DWIN Technology was founded in 2003 in Beijing and specializes in human-machine interface solutions. The company develops its own hardware and software platforms, with a portfolio covering smart LCD modules, TFT displays, touch panels and HMI solutions for integration into electronic equipment and control systems.

One of DWIN’s characteristic technology directions is its range of smart UART modules based on the T5L platform and DGUS software. This architecture allows much of the graphical user interface processing to be handled by the display module itself, reducing the workload on the host controller.

The manufacturer offers products in many sizes and performance grades, including commercial, industrial and medical displays. The portfolio also includes Android and Linux modules, interfaces such as RS-232, RS-485, CAN and UART, and enclosed solutions for direct equipment integration.

DWIN develops solutions for automation, energy systems, medical equipment, consumer products and embedded applications. The company maintains application-support centers in multiple countries, including Poland.

Applications

DWIN solutions provide a ready-made visualization and user-interface layer, making them suitable for systems that require a clear and responsive operator interface. Typical applications include:

Industrial automation – operator panels and machine interfaces.
Energy – controllers, chargers, energy storage systems and metering devices.
Medical equipment – interfaces for diagnostic and therapeutic devices.
HVAC systems – heating, ventilation and air-conditioning controllers.
Smart home systems – wall panels and local controllers.
Consumer equipment – appliances and user electronics.
Embedded and IoT systems – local configuration and data-visualization interfaces.

DWIN products available from Maritex

The DWIN range available from Maritex focuses on visualization and HMI solutions for integration with electronic equipment and control systems.

Available product groups include:

Smart HMI display modules.
TFT LCD displays.
Modules with touch panels.
Displays using serial communication interfaces.
Solutions for operator panels and embedded devices.

When selecting a DWIN module, designers should consider screen size and resolution, touch technology, brightness, operating-temperature range and required communication interfaces. Industrial applications also require attention to the product grade and environmental robustness.

DWIN modules can shorten HMI development time by combining the display, graphics processing and communication functions in one hardware platform.
