GOOBAY

Computer, network and power cables plus electronic accessories

About the manufacturer

Goobay is a connectivity and electronics-accessory brand of the German company Wentronic. The range is designed around practical connection, power and installation products for computers, networking, audio/video equipment and everyday electronic systems. It includes both commonly used consumer interfaces and accessories suitable for professional workstations, service areas and infrastructure installations.

The portfolio covers USB and USB-C cables, HDMI and DisplayPort connections, Ethernet patch leads, audio cables, IEC and other power leads, adapters, chargers, mounts and installation accessories. A broad selection of connector combinations and cable lengths makes the brand useful when standard devices need to be connected, extended or adapted without custom cabling.

Cable choice affects more than mechanical fit. High-speed data links depend on the correct protocol version, conductor quality, shielding and maximum supported length, while USB power delivery also requires the cable to carry the intended current and negotiated power level. For network and AV applications, bandwidth category and signal integrity are important. Goobay products therefore support office, IT, AV, service and general electronics installations where dependable off-the-shelf connectivity is required.
