Wolfspeed is expanding its portfolio with an entirely new line of 3300 V SiC power modules, designed for 24/7 operation in critical infrastructure for AI data centers and other high‑reliability applications.

These modules, built using Gen4 SiC MOSFET technology, enable designers to create more compact, efficient, and reliable systems in an environment of constantly increasing energy demand.

Both module families allow designers to transition to two‑level architectures with DC link voltages above 2 kV, reducing the number of power stages, increasing efficiency, and significantly lowering switching losses.

The new solutions are available in two industrial footprints, enabling manufacturers to easily scale their systems and accelerate the transition to energy‑efficient silicon‑carbide‑based technologies.

1. High‑power module with baseplate – HAB900C33LM4

This module is ideal for: PV farms, energy storage systems, wind turbines, and grid infrastructure.

2. Baseplate‑less module – IBB020A33GM4 / IBB020A33GM4T

Compact, scalable, and designed for modern modular architectures. It offers:

rated current 200 A,
full‑bridge topology,
advanced packaging technologies that enhance durability and thermal robustness,
easy parallel and series connection capability.

Ideal for: solid‑state transformers (SST), energy storage systems, industrial infrastructure.
