The American company Wolfspeed Inc., formerly known under the Cree brand, has over 35 years of experience in the broadband semiconductor technology. It is also a pioneer in commercialization of high-performance products based on gallium nitride (GaN) and silicon carbide (SiC) which has made Wolfspeed a world leader in this technology.

One of the company’s milestones was launching a highly-automated and state-of-the-art 200 mm SiC wafer fab located in Marcy, New York in 2022, to meet growing global demand for the highest quality Wolfspeed products.

The basic product groups are: power modules (up to 3300 V_DS and 800 A), Schottky diodes and MOSFETs (up to 3300 V_DS and 202 A) which come in various options.
